Susan Wallace Barnes makes her home on a coastal meadow at the south end of California's Carmel Bay. Her inspiration comes from travels to Nova Scotia, the Sea of Cortez in Baja, Nantucket Island, Maui, Alaska, and British Columbia. Her designs whimsically portray scenes of home and garden at leisure.
