The origin of Daum, a renowned luxury brand internationally recognized for its exclusive glass and crystal collections, dates back to 1875 when Jean Daum acquired a Glassworks company in Nancy, France.

Daum’s company expanded in 1885 with the addition of an Art Department, marking the beginning of his pioneering enterprise within the glassmaking industry. Daum’s creativity became especially apparent in 1901 with the creation of the important and influential Ecole de Nancy that spearheaded the Art Nouveau movement. Following the elaborate ornamentation associated with the Art Nouveau movement, Daum artists moved towards simplistic ornamentation styles during the Art Deco movement. LEARN MORE...
